Is anyone else exhausted already?

We have 3 weeks left of school (or 14.5 days as we finish early on the last Fri grin)

But I am totally exhausted already and there are still a million and one things to do in those three weeks.

I'm busy at home as DS is in a show this weekend and DH's aunt died yesterday bless her so we are now dealing with all the usual things you have to do.

School is just manic! Transition stuff and New Intake days coming up - I'm involved with all as I have a TLR which is KS3 based plus I am to be a Y7 tutor. I'm looking forward to it but there's so much to do. Then trip day, sponsored walk, plus loads to get ready for Sept as we are changing the curriculum. HoD wants all assessments written for next year so need to do that and I need to mark my Y12 mocks.

I feel like I am buried under a big pile of work!!

We go away the day after we break up which will be lovely but naturally means we need to pack/get organised.

Someone please tell me how to make hours last longer grin or alternatively, send me lots of gin (although maybe that wouldn't help!).

We don’t finish until the 24th!

Yep and the end of term has crept up on me! Just made the decision to jettison some of our assessments - in reality, we have more than enough data and they’ll manage without. One full week of teaching left, one utterly fucking useless week of enrichment and then three days.

Don’t diss enrichment week, I’d rather be taking Y7 to the zoo than trying to teach them.

We finish tomorrow grin

Still plodding! New Intake day was busy but good. Still need to finish marking the Y12 mocks and loads of admin type stuff to do.

Two weeks left after this week - trip day and sponsored walk included!

It needs to end nowsad
