I’m looking at PGCE options. I really enjoy my volunteering in a primary school but I prefer the infant school to the junior school. Does the 3-7 PGCE mean that it’s likely I’ll be restricted to that age group as a teacher?
I’m a little overwhelmed by all the options - university full time, SCITT, Schools Direct, salaried.
I think some routes ( schools direct?) give QTS but university based training gives a PGCE and usually QTS too ( if you pass the placements) If you ever want to teach abroad, you need a PGCE in most countries
