Would appreciate by advice. As I can't manage presents for my DCs teachers this Christmas and I'm a pretty good baker if I send 2 large (16-20 servings) cakes into the staff room will this be OK? If so what sort of cakes should I go for?

I think it's a lovely idea. 2 different ones - 1 chocolate, one victories sponge, or tiramisu or anything (bung in paper plates & cutlery too!) i would also do it sooner rather than later - they would get lost amongst everything on last day, or the staff will be so busy won't have time to enjoy them etc

i thinker's a really nice gesture, and also covers staff that otherwise get forgotten

I thought I'd take them in on the Monday of the last week (Kids break up on Friday). Good idea about paper plates! Thank you.

Right I did a check yesterday. No allergies of any type in the staff room. So Chocolate cake with a plethora of chocolate sweets adorning it and.....another one. Suggestions?

One chocolate cake with chocolates on and one lemon sponge with lemon butter icing winging their way to the staff room. Thank you for your help 😁
