I have one more day with children as thankfully (or maybe not having just read the agenda) have inset on Friday!!

Two more days here. I'm dead on my feet.

I don't know what it was about this term, but me too! Although at least I've had my observation now.

We're all hanging too, the staffroom is full of the walking wounded.

whitepearl17 Wed 18-Oct-17 19:43:30

Aww hope it went well Doomhutch!

I’m in Wales and we have another week to go.

Yep - most of my teaching friends are on their knees. I've finished for half term now (work p/t) but feel dreadful sad

leccybill Wed 18-Oct-17 19:45:06

Utterly dead here. Most manic start back every known.

I'm also in a new school, just finding my way around and learning 200 names of kids I teach every week took it out of me! Then of course the many, many, many initiaves and nonsense I have to follow (it's an academy...). Pass me the wine!

whitepearl17 Wed 18-Oct-17 19:47:08

Of course leccybill! Cheers! wine
Crikey banana that's one heck of a long half term sad

The kids are knackered as well. All the friendship problems are coming out to play!

Doomhutch Wed 18-Oct-17 19:49:46

Really well, thanks! They're supportive in my school, but it's still nice to realx until after Christmas!

whitepearl17 Wed 18-Oct-17 19:49:54

Oh yes, especially in my needy year 7 classes, my year 11's are just asleep in class!!

innerfoundpeas Wed 18-Oct-17 19:58:22

Oh yes - do not mention football at breaktime/glue (in a primary so really mean the sticking stuff!) he said/she said wearing sooooo thin

innerfoundpeas Wed 18-Oct-17 19:59:29

Oh bananas that is awful! but hey, shorter next half? (desp clutching at straws)

BlessYourCottonSocks Wed 18-Oct-17 21:14:07

Yep. Read my day from hell post! I am so tired I am terrified I will not make it through the next two days without breaking. This is me....

BlessYourCottonSocks Wed 18-Oct-17 21:14:59

whitepearl17 Wed 18-Oct-17 21:20:39

pearl I was scarily close today!

There was a fraction of a second where my brain whispered 'Just say it! And walk out'...

I am that tired sad

Bananasandchocolatecustard Wed 18-Oct-17 21:25:28

Commiserations are appreciated. Hope you all have restful half terms.

When do you break up for Christmas ? We finish on the 22nd!

EveningShadows Wed 18-Oct-17 21:40:56

22nd?? Bloody hell, that's late!

We finish on the 19th.

leccybill Wed 18-Oct-17 21:41:34

Yep, 22nd here. If I make it!

Unode50 Wed 18-Oct-17 21:43:56

I'm in Scotland so thankfully my half term break is this week. Definitely felt ridiculously tired on Friday. Already dreading going back on Monday. We finish for Christmas on the 21st.

BlessYourCottonSocks Wed 18-Oct-17 22:21:41

I can't even bear to looksad

But you've stressed me now leccy and I'm forced to...We finish on 19th apparently - but we're back on 2rd? That's not do-able for me.

mineofuselessinformation Wed 18-Oct-17 22:29:00

A day more of teaching... (Six lessons so an after school session!)
And then delivering training on Friday.
Will have to catch up on marking over the holidays will need to take a bloody wheelbarrow in with me to transport all of the books.
I'm knackered. Beyond tired. Never had such a crazy-busy half term.
Going through UPS1 to UPS2 (or trying to!), so not feeling hopeful about that, never mind all of the rest of it....
