Worst Parts of Being off ill (moan)

I’m currently off work sick and need some sympathy! Have been accused of being a martyr by my family because was very upset last night when vomiting started so I couldn’t go to work and they replied saying well I obviously wasn’t going to go in with a fever/sore throat/ headache - yes I was! Purely because if I don’t go in, when I get back I find my classsroom is trashed and takes days to get back to normal, my form have loads of negative behaviour points, my classes have done none of the coverwork I set so they will be behind, and all of my colleagues will have had a more stressful day because of the cover lessons etc.
Does anyone else find this when they’ve been off sick? What is the worst thing about being off at your school?
(Also the Daily Mail are shit eating fuck faces, in case one of your ‘journalists’ uses this thread to shit on teachers AGAIN)

The worst thing about being sick is that it is easier to go into school feeling ill than it is to organise cover work and send it in by 8am.

I was signed off, stress-related, and the Head contacted me only to ask whether I was going to get the end-of-year reports written. I didn't want my colleagues to have to pick it up, so I wrote them all while off sick. (Any the Daily Fail can fuck right off... which is what I should said to the Head!)

When my classes were covered by a supply who left days of unmarked work that I would have to try to catch up with when I got back. There's no budget for supply now because of the cuts so the work probably won't even get done let alone marked. Now I just hate the extra work that I know my colleagues will have to do if I'm off.

My friend/ colleague is currently off for the half term due to illness. Her class has been utterly ruined in her absence. Every one of her routines has been ignored, her resources discarded, the whole ethos of her class reversed.
I don’t know how she’s going to come back.

My job hate has been off sick for a few weeks. Each week I go in to find a trashed classroom, messy books, resources missing, stressed TAs.

I hate being off sick as it's harder to send in plans and come back and sort everything out! I'd rather struggle through than take a day off! 9 years teaching and only 3 sick days due to stomach bugs so no choice!
