Advantages of going back to school...

I will miss the lazy starts and spending time with my DDs while they are not stressed in any way by their routine/homework/studing. I also will miss being relaxed myself and having more time to do those things that get put to one side when it's busy term-time.

But my bank account and my diet will breathe a sigh of relief when we go back to work - on Friday. Eek.

I will miss time with my husband and son and being relaxed (rather than living life at 100mph!) .

However, I feel like I have spent so much money this holidays so looking forward to giving my poor bank account a rest!

Drank more wine and gin then was probably good for me and eaten lots so I'm sure my body will appreciate a more sensible diet!

I do tend to thrive on routine and find I keep.on top of the house better in term time so hopefully that will help too!

I agree that my diet and bank balance will thank me.
And routine. I'm completely out sync with washing and stuff.

That said I am dreading going back.

I need to snap out of a lazy routine. I'm taking ages to get anything done. It's lovely being on top of basic housework, but I feel very unmotivated to do any more than that. Need a kick up the bum!

Next Friday??! We went back last Tuesday!

Too many things I'll miss and not much I won't. Diet is always better at school I suppose.

Sad I love the holidays.

Advantages are as you said - Diet, bank balance and routine. I'll love it when I'm back, it's just the thought of it being so soon
