I once sent one of my dds in as The Illustrated Mum - just loads of fake tattoo stuff. I hate this every year, particularly when someone comes up with a crappy theme for staff.

Dressing gown and a book that says Don't panic on the cover in your pocket - v hands if you have to have meetings or what have you as is easily taken off or on

I'm going as stick man! Brown jumper and jeans and cardboard hat shaped like top of stick with a couple of leaves attached! Luckily we are currently doing Julia Donaldson so my year are witches, cats etc Just thought, I bet one of the kids thinks I'm the broom! Grin
