Controlled Tasks

I swapped classes in September with a colleague and have marked all my Controlled Assessments and have no missing pieces for the class I handed over. However within the class I was given there are some elements of the assessments missing. Who is responsible for this? I have spoken to the students who have all said [and take with a pinch of salt] that they handed their work in. I have made sure that the class I handed over had all their work completed.
There isnt harmony in the dept at the moment and dont fancy being blamed for CAs not being finished.

Well, ultimately they're going to need doing. Could you email your hod and ask 'what the arrangements are' for pupils who don't have assessment folders as you've realised your new class have some missing? This makes it clear it's not your fault and puts the ball in someone else's court for sorting it

Mmm....we have half term so will wait until we go back to speak to the pupils again to double check and send them to the teacher concerned to see where their work is. If no headway made then I will broach the subject with HoF.
