I am applying for a new job and apart from my experiences and the impact of the curriculum changes and changes in 1 year and 2 year courses, is there anything else do you think I should particularly be talking about ?

Thank you

Exploring impact of funding changes? Haven't 6th forms been hit hardest?
Also, changes to school leaving age to 18?

Attracting money pupils. How would you drive the 6th form and its unique selling points over other local offerings? Investigate what the other offerings are, their good and bad points and look at the pupil numbers, share etc between these.

In terms of curriculum I would talk about how you would increase the employability of your students and what you would include in a programme of study to maximise progression opportunities. If the school has Applied General or Technical qualifications I would also read the Sainsburys review/skills plan. With regards to outcomes I would focus on value added and high grades and the Post-16 performance tables, linked in with this is the tracking of progress post-16. Hope that helps.
