Hi I'm trying to find one of those box things on wheels for carting folders - but sturdy! All the reviews on amazon aren't too positive!

Any ideas?

Thanks!

We have managed to trash 3 boxes on wheels in our department. The best one I have found is the one that came with my citroen berlingo, may be you could get one from a breakers?

Thanks - I've just been mulling over a small foldable trailer! The plastic ones seem so bulky for not a lot of carry.

I'm a ppa teacher of mostly art/DT and have so many resources to carry up and down a long corridor. I actually think (although rather extreme looking) it might be better!

Suitcase on wheels or one of those old lady shopping trolleys?

Thanks for the citron idea; there's lots on eBay.

I have an old lady shopping bag - the depth is an issue actually; things not easy to lift out as piled up.

The same with a suitcase; I've tried that too.

I'm swinging between the Citroen one or the mini trailer .

This is it. I did jokingly say I needed a trailer 3 times this week!

Basically I pop into several different classrooms over the course of 2 days. It's Sen so lots of hands on bulk stuff. No base for my self.

A lady I work with uses a suitcase. Works perfectly.

My Lakeland one has been going strong for 4 years now. Even carted a case of wine across France on public transport Grin

My colleague's one has fallen apart though after just a couple of years, so might be a bit hit or miss.

I could try a bigger suitcase this week I guess.

I do like that the several smaller bags that are effectively my filing system/ traveling desk could be lifted in and out of the trailer from the top/ at a glance can see where everything is (v Marie kondo!)

But

40 quid :/

Everyone would be jealous though...

I used to have one of these when I lived in an apartment and my car was parked under a neighbouring block so that carrying anything from the car involved about 5 heavy doors and two lifts. It was really sturdy, I even moved a sofa on it, and it folded up quite small (not tiny, but small enough).

Yes I've seen several disintegrate that belong to colleagues. We took one to beamish. They do not survive cobbles. (Can't for the life of me remember how/ why we had one at beamish.)

The thing is I have no where really to store my things and if I did I need access to them regularly during the day from the other end of the school. I often take a lot of stuff from the art room down to a class that cant access it safely and back again needing several trips. I'm wasting time and my back! I've started leaving certain bags in different classrooms in a strategic fashion but then end up running round gathering them altogether. Or forget what's been left where.

Big suitcase or trailer I think!

That would be great tim!

But more than the blue thing and I like the fact the blue thing has sides for those random thing that get thrown in
