I just read the summary. I thought it was more nuanced on pay. Much quicker to reach top of pay scale and better paid by 10 years in, but then no big increases in pay. So worse, then better, then worse
The number of young primary school teachers was incredibly high - 30% i think

That backs up what I've seen in schools- lots of people under thirty teaching. Anyone over 40 is 'at risk' from capability in my school and over 50 is unheard of! As we're all supposed to be teaching until we're 68, I'm not quite sure how that's going to work?!
