One school I worked at had loads of different clubs on a Friday afternoon. Properly organised and loads of choice- craft, sports, drama, music, dance, board games etc.

There was a behaviour card system where children who had behaved badly had to earn back their Golden time clubs.

Worked well IMO but I suppose it depends on the children you have in the school.

A school I work in has VIP Club by invite only, for 'catch them being good' type rewards. Works well.

Also ClassDojo is a great app for a visual way of awarding and removing points for behaviour/participation/effort.

Have you seen class dojos? Our P5/6/7classes,use them. It's an app that you use to reward the positive and record the negative. Parents get an automatic email each week that shows how their child has done.
