How to write a proposal for a club/society

Hi everyone, I want to start a Model UN society in my school (primary) for KS2. I have a lot of experience with from university and believe I can introduce it to Year 5/6s.

I want to write a mini proposal to send to my head to look over. I haven't ran a club before so I was just wondering what topics to cover:

Age range aimed at
Cross curricular links
Benefits to in-classroom debate and discussion
Potential for competition/trips
Model plan for a session

Can anyone think of anything else?

To be honest, around here it would be 'hey I want to start a lunchtime club.' 'OK, as long as I don't have to do anything for it or worry about it, then knock yourself out.' LOL.

Who's doing clubs?

Yeah same here. We're being begged to do extra curricular activities! We'd all be willing to do the ones we used to before we were forced to do after school boosters
