I actually like it smile

I was thinking of making some for my HFA dc who has trouble starting stories.

Sponsored by Sharpie - genius!

Don't the children ever throw the stones?!

but WHY?

They are like these...

www.amazon.co.uk/Creativity-Hub-Rorys-Story-Cubes/dp/B003NFJMBM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1439233481&sr=8-1&keywords=Story+cubes

But cheaper. grin and it links to nature. different shapes are good to play with, giving a texture to the body to stimulate different parts of the brain. (Or at least that is what I have been told!)

Ds often can't think of the start of a story or how a story progresses. So using the stones/cubes as prompts encourages creativity and language and problem solving of how to get that item into the story.

Whenever I want to say 'Sharpie' I have to be very careful as on a number of occasions I have said 'Stiffie' instead
