It's so windy today the children are going to be absolutely bonkers! To top it off I'm on cover period one for a class that contains some of my form :s

Anyone else find that wind is the worst weather condition for making the kids over excited and far too noisy ?

I think it's going to be a long day... Bring on the weekend.

I was actually having this conversation with a student teacher on Wednesday

Very blustery day, the children were all over the place in the afternoon

I told her it was the wind and she looked at me like I was mad Grin

I'm training in Early Years (my level 2 so a bit of a way off being a teacher yet) and my teacher friends have all warned me about windy days and snow, as well.

Is it really true?

Oh no, I'm in with the 1 to 2 year olds at the minute. Hope this wind isn't around next time I'm on placement!
