A simple question really, how much of the school week do you teach a full class? And what are you expected to do with the rest of your time?

Ours support in class and run interventions in the morning and provide PPA, teaching whole class, in the afternoons. Each year group has an HLTA and we are four form entry, so one afternoon in each class, plus one that is rotated around subject leader release, HLTA's own PPA and "other tasks".

Our school is a 4 form entry. There are 2 HLTAs. They teach a whole class every lesson, every day with 2 hours PPA a week. They cover each teacher's PPA plus cover for management time ,subject leader release etc.

I teach each afternoon - my own subject, so computing.
I support most mornings. One morning a week I do other non-contact activities.
I also do adhoc first day absence cover for the class teacher.
