I might be thinking of escaping teaching! I've been a secondary teacher for a while and since got an ou psych degree. I'm thinking of working towards retraining and meeting the local ed psych lead soon.

However -I've never ou one before. Have you used them? Have they been useful? Can anyone tell me what the process was like? (I worked in 6th forms mainly). Also, what do they wear? I'm going Doran informal chat but obviously I want to make a good impression!

I hope you are SuePurblyBuilt or you are going to get shot for misspelling your name change, too.,.

They dress like teachers.

If you want some better pointers, you might find it interesting to ask the same question on the sn children board. Most of the posters there have had far more dealings with ed psychs than teachers do...

Thank gawd for that!

Seriously though, ask about Ed psychs on the sn board in terms of roles and how they can be helpful...
