The royal family

AIBU to wish today's Sandringham Summit about Megxit could be live streamed to Her Majesty's loyal subjects

And we could sell the rights abroad as well.

From the comfort of our living rooms we could watch the Queen, her eldest son and two grandsons thrash it out in the comfort of HM's living room. Apparently, Meghan is going to be there via FaceTime so we might get a glimpse of Archie the Baby too.

Ace idea or wot?

I'm there! Possibly the most awkward family tea ever...

I just said this to work colleagues.

We all agreed that we’d like to be a fly on the wall.

It should be The Crown Christmas Special.

Fergie and Princess Di “resigned” from The Firm. You never see Prince Edward out and about. I don’t get all fuss about the Sussexes. There must be enough of the family left to cover the shifts.

I think this is worthy of a Playmobil thread. Grin

I think the reason people are fussed about the Sussexes is the fact that they clearly plan to monetize the royal connection and trade on their titles.

I was thinking they could have a Big Brother style room diary room to pop into so they could individually share their thoughts and feelings with us when it's all getting too much. Maybe take a lie detector test with questions set by loyal subjects

"William - did you really cheat on Kate with Rose Wotsit?" Please let it be no!

"Harry - did you really try and bag Meghan a voiceover gig with Disney?"

"Meghan - how well did you know the Clooneys and the Oprah before you gave them top seats at the wedding?"

Could not give a fuck
It’s a PR stunt to court sympathy for the poor and entitled privileged who want to be perrwinceses AND go unnoticed.

Yes I would love to see it. I do think it's a PR stunt and to bury the Andrew issue. It's clear they want to downsize the senior members from the photo taken of heirs to the throne.

I'd like to watch them wrangling over the domain name.

'No, Harry, you can't have that! It's misleading. How about 'www.demiroyale.com'? With the added e to keep it classy.'

Yes I thought the same Eurgh, they are making a massive deal of this to try and distract attention from Prince Andrew 🙄

I don't think it's distraction from Andrew...

Absolutely. And a Ducking Stool should be installed at Windsor for the return of The Witch. Trying to nick Our Prince. Bloody cheek.

I can't wait for 'Meghan ~ The Movie' starring ..... Meghan Markle as MM and Hugh Grant as PH (cos the Americans love his bumbling British toff routine so will overlook his lack of gingerness).

MM will be a much more convincing princess than Nicole Kidman/Naomi Watts and their pitiful attempts to play Princess Grace/Diana.

Oh the costumes and the locations will be exquisite, though William might veto the use of Windsor Castle so Netflix will have to green screen it.

The Guardian is LIVE BLOGGING the meeting, which I think is the most ridiculous thing ever, especially as they have no idea what's going on in the meeting..

Blogging what though? What could they possibly know for sure?
Car arrives - could be prince william... or not
Another car - maybe Charles? Man is wearing a hat...
Heres another car pulling up to the gates - well it's Harry... or Charles... or William.
Another car/ I have no idea?

When has fact and accuracy ever bothered our media? BuckHouse has just issued a joint statement from PW and PH saying (paraphrasing here) that the Daily Mail are big fat liars for saying William has been bullying Harry. The Daily Mail lie? Shocker!!

I do hope Kate is on hand to smooth things over with shortbread and decency. She's a brick, is Kate.

The Times are big fat liars, too. Which is another shocker as it's owned by cuddly Rupert Murdoch.

I reckon we'll hear soon enough. Meghan down the end of a phone line... do the royal family honestly think she's sitting in a room by herself?
