I really hope he is called either James or Arthur

EdithWeston Mon 23-Apr-18 14:23:45

There are too many James (Prince Edward's son, Kate's brother and brother-in-law)

It might be Alexander (as the Royal family has form for recycling middle names)

I think Phillip will be one of the middle names, and maybe Michael.

Rupert, maybe? Or Richard?

Please let it be something that stops us all in our tracks!

I think Alan

Or Ethelred if they want something more conventional.

Aethestan would be awesome!

But I think they'll be more traditional. Frederick, Christian, Rupert.

Or perhaps Stephen (Kevin perhaps a step too far?)

I’d love a Prince Caspian

But I’m voting for Albert Charles Philip Louis

sheddooropen Mon 23-Apr-18 14:32:13

Arthur James would be my favourite but that’s just preference

EdithWeston Mon 23-Apr-18 14:45:41

I really don't think Prince Albert is a useable name any more......

OldGuard Mon 23-Apr-18 15:17:04

Alas Edith I fear you are correct grin

sheddooropen Mon 23-Apr-18 15:29:54

Yeah I don't think they will pick Albert which is a shame because it's a lovely name

TroysMammy Mon 23-Apr-18 16:08:19

George IV was called Bertie so perhaps Albert would be a contender but then again Queen Victoria's eldest son was called Bertie and by all accounts he was a pita.

EdithWeston Mon 23-Apr-18 16:40:57

Anyone remember how long it took to announce names for the elder two?

Perhaps a different Bertie name - Robert most likely, but there's also Cuthbert, Hubert, Bertram, Egbert, Norbert, and even Pubert.

ajandjjmum Mon 23-Apr-18 17:30:44

I think it was only a couple of days.

Ivegotfamilyandidrinkcupsoftea Mon 23-Apr-18 17:32:01

Considering the late bets for a boy this morning I wonder if Arthur the bookies favourite may be chosen. Does anyone know if the bookies were right last time?
