And its not very nice. My girls do not hunt. I live in a flat so i would’ve seen it happening the doors are never closed between rooms.
Yesterday i was minding my own business mopping the floor when I noticed their flat scratch mat had come apart so basically the box part was left and I smiled as I saw the fluffy big rat toy theyve never played with inside it. Then, I looked again and it wasnt so cuddly. It was huge nearly took up the whole box I had to get mrs next door to come and help me. There were no signs of a fight. It looked quite happy, just dead. There is no way my girls would do such a thing. They wouldn't be
interested. The kitchen window is open but its a flat. Well the rat was double bagged and I put it in the dustbin and waved it off at 6am when the bin men came (i know thats not pc). Except I never. I went out onto my balcony with my coffee since i was up and lo and behold the same rat was looking up my dressing gown dead as a doornail. How could that have happened? Did it come back from the dead and get out if the double bag? Oh, god whats happening? Is if a mafia warning or is it those bloody interloper strays?
I have two suspects the first is black and sleek but is only a young boy the rat was nearly his size plus, ive never seen him jumping through my window.
The second is ginger with many fingers he has got the strength but hes scared of anyone even looking at him the wrong way. Im really flummoxed. Ive enclosed photos from today of the culprits.
