The litter tray

Kittens personalities are so different!

I don't know if you remember, but in the new year we took in a pregnant cat who had her babies in March.
They are now 5 weeks old and full of character.
One of them is a lot more shy than the rest. He plays on his own all of the time and even seems to sleep on his own.
He doesn't run away from me and doesnt seem scared, just introverted really.
Is there anything I need to do differently for him? I feel a bit mean when his siblings roughhouse with him.
I've never had such young kittens before but I love them and we are still DEFINITELY keeping them all.

Here's a few of them. It's hard to get a good picture because they never stand still 😂

Gorgeous, especially the little black one with white socks!

They are the best.
We are attempting weaning now as the one with the moustache was trying to eat mum's dinner. He eats lots of meat now but the others won't touch it yet.
They all wee in the litter but no poos yet. I assume mum is still helping them with that as I haven't found one.

They are adorable
My cat had a litter 2 weeks after we got her and there was a little multi coloured girl who was v similar we handled her more and she turned out to be soft as anything slept in my arms on my shoulder etc and still the same now the girl who has her adores her and I’m still totally gutter I had to give any away I wish I’d kept her 😭. Handle him and play with him he’ll either turn into a big soft lump or continue to be a loner/aloof. One of my boys was quite aggressive with the girls and v greedy I caught him once eating his food whilst pinning the girls down and growling at them so they couldn’t have any big monkey, girls are big soft lumps and he’s king of his house, all went to friends but it’s heartbreaking. Enjoy them, they are so lovely your pics cheered me up Smile

  1. You havent found one yet
  2. Watch that shy guy. He's the one that's going to be causing the most trouble in years to come.

Aww, so so cute, the white one looks like my beautiful girl who I had to have put to sleep 3 weeks ago. She even had a similar moustache. I miss her so much. They are adorable!

We went from no cats to 5 cats within the space of a few weeks 🙈
They are at the point where they try and climb your leg while you are standing up. Ouch!
My arms are full of scratches 😂 they are worth it though

They are so lovely ofwarren. Hope you are ok. Another poster thought you might have been ill. It’s fantastic to see photos of Alex and her kittens. When you posted the last ones, I had never seen such young kittens so it was amazing. They are all so adorable (including Alex).

@nettie434
Yes, I had what my doctor thinks was coronavirus for just over 2 weeks. Almost fully recovered now thankfully.
The kittens are such a blessing. They certainly make the isolation bearable. They have proper little personalities already.

@papergirl1968 yes, she only had one tabby. I was so happy she did though.
I think the tabby will be a lap cat. He's the first one to actually fall asleep on me.

I’m sorry you were ill, it’s an awful virus. Hopefully you are on the mend now.

Mums still not looking impressed with this parenting lark is she?.
