Hi all! As much as Dougal is loving sunning himself inside during lockdown and is happy being an indoor cat I, on the other hand, am starting to melt.
I live on a second floor flat with Juliette balcony doors in the living room and spare bedroom. The windows are south facing so I have the doors open from April onward normally when the weather is nice.
I’ve attached a photo and am looking for advice, how do I cat proof the doors so I can open them? There’s no balcony on the other side, only metal railing which is covered in bamboo.
Would I need to cat net over the entire outside of the door? I doubt the leasehold allows me to drill into the brickwork so I’d have to glue hooks to the doors. What about netting?
He’s not a climber but I just want to make sure he is safe. Thank you!
