Evening!

Thought I'd start a positive thread on how our cats are coping now we are invading their daytime space by working from home. My girl has been an asset so far!

Mine are demanding attention whenever I want to spend more than about 15 mins on the PC. They will break off whatever they are doing (usually sleeping) and insist on my attention. Once they get me settled in the living room, they piss off again & ignore me.

Mine keeps appearing in rooms and looking at me like "are you STILL here?"

One of mine vommed on my workspace floor just as my morning online meeting started. I think that says it all really..

Shadow loves it, he loves being around us so any extra time he can sit next to us is a bonus.

Shadow has a bed on my desk, he occasionally walks over the keyboard but is generally not annoying.

Simba sleeps in his cardboard box and ignores us most of the time, not much different from usual.

JudyGemstone, Ivy has the most spectacular ears! Are you completely sure she's not a lynx?

I saw this cartoon. It expresses my cat's thoughts perfectly.

@Ilikecurrybest wow, think you win the prize for most annoying new coworker!

@TheLongRider that cartoon is perfect!

My girl is a lot calmer today, currently sleeping, obviously wore herself out yesterday helping !

Dougal is not greatly impressed because even though I’m now at home I can’t play with him constantly or give him all the food he demands.

He’s taken to sulking in the sun and finding novel new uses for his toys in an attempt to distract me.

I'm very lucky in that I can still go to work. (Nurse) but cheddar is unimpressed with me around the rest of the time.

@Toddlerteaplease thank you for all you do as a nurse, please stay safe, much appreciation

We are really quiet at the moment. As all our elective surgery has been cancelled. Though I fully expect more kids with broken arms from falling off their trampolines!

18 year old Buns would like me to be at home all the time but unfortunately for her I work in the health service.

We are ruled by 2 cats and whilst there are now 4 of us at home I ended up with both of them ‘helping’ yesterday morning. Fine when we had a fight over who’s chair it was - solution get a 2nd one and a bean bag so we all had one!
But the highlight was later on when they had wandered off, I opened the windows (work upstairs) and went on a conference call only to see one cat making a beeline for the window. As she is not known for her balancing skills or for having any common sense I had to leap up and shut the window.

Dougal is attempting to muscle in on the conference call I’m currently on. I’ve had to put the phone on mute because he’s purring so loudly.

They're not cut out for the working life, so would like to have a lie in this morning, if you don't mind. Thank you very much.

My home Office is equipped with a cat scanner.

I have to save my printing for when she is not napping there or she ends up on the ceiling when it starts.
