He's always been unfaithful.. from his first days out he snook into other houses and assumed they were all his to wander, and after he got trapped in a neighbour's for 5 days his sister never accepted him again... hisses at him if she sees him.

He has had three regular houses for years now, ours, two doors down and Thelma 4 doors down. Despite his sister, and then a dog (which he just ignored) he was still coming home, but then a stray (who is fed by everyone and sleeps in neighbour no 1's shed in a cat bed!) decided to try and move in and literally fought Obie every time he came to he door. After a couple of months of this he started coming home less often (we stopped feeding the stray but it makes no difference..he lurks outside ) Obie quit.. and has moved in mostly with Thelma but still goes into no 1's as well.

I'm gutted..but there isn't a lot I can do.. he prefers Thelma's..she's retired, home nearly all day and he loves her. I can't make her kick him out (she did ask if I wanted her to) because he is happy there.

But she can't afford his twice a year £300 sedated shave bill, even if she took on the vaccinations and I feel I have a moral responsibility to get all his needs met even if I haven't seen him for months.

I'm stuck paying for a cat whom I love but has dumped us!

Ophie is very pleased that her brother has finally left :( (she's not keen on the dog but they have come to a mutual understanding... glare and ignore!)

No real point to posting but I miss him :(

Well there are things you can do. Ask her to him getting access to her house so he’ll move back into yours. Or legally relinquish the cat and then his medical bills are her problem. No way would I be paying expensive medical bills for an animal that’s moved into someone else’s house. Have you spoken to her about his bills?

I'd also be asking them not to let him in. Gee your cat!

Particularly if she can't afford the bills that come with him.

Oh god this is awful, she can’t have him if she can’t afford his care.

Isn't Ophie going to live with your DC or something?
