We have a cat who visits us a lot (neighbours' cat, they know and are happy she is here a lot, we don't feed her) and she's just been sick. It was thin and watery with some mucus but it was red/pink like watered down blood. What could it be? She seems ok now, was a bit shaky and swallowing straight after but i guess you do do that after vomiting.

She did jump back on to the table after and has gone to sleep on a pile of coats! She swipes at us when we stroke her to see if she's ok so that's normal! Does this all sound normal/ not worrying? Do we need to tell the neighbour tonight? She probably will be here for a few more hours if she stays in her routine. Don't want to disturb them at this hour if not urgent. Thank you in advance. I haven't had cats before but I love this one!

I'd give a heads up. I'd want to know if it was my cat

It sounds normal to me. Cats vomit all the time, seemingly randomly. Sometimes it looks like that. Unless she isn't eating, or it happens all the time, or she doesn't seem well then I wouldn't worry.
