So my cat is acting ..... weird.

We have a puss we've had from a kitten , she is 6.
My dh has a heart problem and his medication can make him have an occasional stumble / wobble.
Yesterday cat was in the lounge , dh walked in but had a stumble and crashed into the door.
Since then cat hisses, growls and generally is very off with dh and sometimes with me.
We are mostly leaving her to it and letting her come to us if she wants to.
She has spent a good hour or so laid between us enjoying a neck rub from us both. Then she went for a wander indoors and is now a hissy , spitty cat again . Any ideas ?

Maybe dh acting differently just unnerved dcat?

Some cats can smell diabetes right? Is it that the cat senses his illness?
