Harry's vet check up

He's had a clean-ish bill of health. He has some dental issues but no sensitivity so because of his age, heart murmur and possible kidney problems the vet is happy to watch and wait. He didn't push to do anything so we're going along with that.

Harry has lost 0.2kg since July so I'm keeping an eye on his weight as well, although another 0.2kg off would be good apparently!

After the issues with his previous vet it's nice to have one who's happy to let him be!

Please ignore my fat leg in the picture!

Great news. My pair had their check up
Today. They've both put on weight so need to go on a diet! Cheds has some redness on her gum. So the vet suggested cleaning her teeth. She's been pretty good. But doesn't like the taste of the paste. I don't blame her. It tastes vile!

I thought of you when we were waiting to see the vet as the cat next to us was the image of Cheddar.

I'm glad the girls got on ok and I hope Cheddar's teeth are ok.

I wondered if I should push for blood tests for Harry but the vet was happy that he's got no symptoms so we'll carry on with the Ipakitine and hope he stays well.

I'd just leave him be and enjoy him! Her teeth are fine. It was just her gum that was a bit inflamed. Though she wasn't overly keen to show us!

Exactly, that's how I feel. There's been so many vet visits and a couple of times when I thought I'd lose him that I just want enjoy him. I love him so much and don't want to put him through anything he doesn't need to.
