Thank you all so much for your help on recent threads which proved invaluable for a newbie prospective cat owner. We collected our amazing kitten this morning and have fallen head over heels in love with him.

Thank you all so much. Amazing 36 hours. He is bright, alert and hugely playful and inquisitive but also happy to sit for an hour curled up and snuggled in a lap.

Only issue so far is that he hasn't poo'd yet (eek) and did a first wee in his new litter tray but the second in a cardboard box. Yikes. If he just nails the litter thing then I think we got our perfect kitty.

O he's lovely. They can be a bit anxious when they move somewhere new, which can mess up their litter-trained-ness at first. I'm sure he'll be fine once he's used to everything (and he is just a kitten after all!)

Happy days. He escaped from his safe little closed in area which we set up to get him settled and has been enjoying the run of the house since. Poos and wees in the litter box, snuggles on the bed and is a total delight. I'm in love
