I live in a rental property with my three cats. The siamese in particular is being a pain. He scratches the carpet a lot. I've got rugs and door mats down, but he scratches next to them I've got a scratching post that he never uses.
Tbh I think he's not right in the head! In a charming siamese way obviously. Actually, I guess he's just being a siamese! I cope with all his weird ways most of the time, but he's going to ruin the carpet.
Is there ANYTHING I can do?
I've tried the spray you can buy, it made no difference at all. I've played with him, told him off, picked him up ... nothing helps.
He's 10, and it's nothing new, but the house I live in now has lovely carpet and I can't afford to replace it.
Any suggestions at all welcome.
