Randomly, I was just watching this old video of a squeaky little frog and something funny happened. My cat heard the squeaking, ran over and started rubbing all around me, head butting my phone and purring like crazy.

Do your cats do the same if you play it to them?

When I saw this I wanted to try it out on my kitten. As soon as I said to my DP "where's the cat?" There was almighty crash from the bathroom as the little sod had knocked off an inexpensive glass tea light holder and there was glass everywhere. Little sod had run downstairs and hid. As I was on my way out to work I didn't have the chance. Will try it out later.

Cheddar was in a really deep sleep, she opened her eyes to look at it but didn't move. She's pretty much gone back to sleep
Again!

Mine stopped cleaning herself, watched with ears perked up and sniffed every inch of the phone. I think it was a hit!

My cat went nuts trying to get behind the speakers to see what was there. Accidentally sat on the printer on button which started it whirring, so clearly that's where the critter is living. He's now giving the printer evils.

Girl-cat: absolutely nothing!
Its her brother that prefers frogs. I'll try him later when he emerges from the comfort of his duvet...

Girl cat: not arsed, just wanted to be cuddled.

Boy cat: came running down the stairs, it sounded like an elephant. He is staring at me like he wants to kill me. Confused

Her eyes went as as black as the night and she briefly looked around herself but didn’t move. Very cute sounding frog though! 🐸

It's interesting that some of your cats reacted the same way as mine! I'm very sorry to those who's went a bit nuts and even broke things! 🙈

@ImNotYourGranny I laughed so much reading your post! Grin

I was going to wait till all mine were in tonight, but after reading the reactions I think I'll leave it till morning. The one most likely to go nuts is a pita at bedtime anyway, worse than settling a toddler.

My boy cat ran up straight away and rubbed his head on my laptop. No sign of girl cat being interested.

Snorg looked at it for about 5 seconds then lost interest!

"It's worse than settling at toddler."
That describes Cheddar at night perfectly!

Aren't they though toddler? Last thing I need is for her to be racing around chirruping loudly when it's wind down time because nobody will get any sleep.
