Please help! Its an absolutle minefield. We are trying to find a policy that doesn't make you pay a % of the total vet bill as well as the excess! Any recommendations would be hugely appreciated.

Tesco premium cover. I've had. Almost £20k of claims and they've been great.

Thank you! Just looked at tesco. That is by far the best policy I have seen. She is finally insured.

Pet Plan lifetime cover, expensive but worth it.

Tesco were great for me too. Had them for 8 years. Only problem was when my cat was 11 (and had just been diagnosed with kidney disease I’d claimed £900 on over the year) they put my insurance up from £35 per month to £65 (to be expected under the circs I suppose but a bit rich considering I’d paid for 7 years and claimed nothing) then the following year it went up again to £85 per month. I could no longer afford it and with a preexisting condition I couldn’t move insurers and expect coverage for the kidney disease.
So if I were doing it again with a younger cat, I’d investigate these policies for the whole of the cats life. I don’t know the ins and outs. I’d be looking to find out on trustpilot or somesuch.

Mine is currently £75 a month for two cats. But due to Magics heart I'm tied to them. But they are still the cheapest quote by far.
