Ours was a tiny little black rescue cat in the 80's, named Samantha. Despite her size, she ruled our house for 17 years She was beautiful, loving and affectionate but also demanding, neurotic and thick as shit. She HATED going outside despite us living in the lovely countryside and would appear at every window crying if we dared to put her out She would literally steal food off your plate (chicken and pork chops were her favourite) but refuse to eat cat food and would regularly go on hunger strike
She was the daftest little thing with the loudest purr and 25 years later I still think about her 😻
