Hi all,
I want to buy a friend some flowers as a massive thank you. She has three cats and I know she's given away flowers (tulips) before as they're toxic to cats. Can you recommend what I should choose or avoid please?
TIA x

Lilies is the most important thing to avoid - they are deadly - and the cats only need to brush past them they don't even need to eat them. Some other flowers can be a bit problematic if eaten (which frankly isn't likely) but not deadly like lilies. I wouldn't have thrown out tulips (and I thought it was the bulbs that was the problem - but I'm not sure).

Roses are definitely OK. I would just specify no lilies and it should be fine.

The icactcare website has a list of flowers to avoid.
