We put up with a lot of cheeky fuckery from our feline overlords, but there are specific things they do to show you that they love you.

DH's Overlord punches him in the face when he is hungry at 5am. If DH is ill, the fluffy idiot will sit on his chest in an attempt to make him feel better. He is a bloody big Maine Coon, so DH simultaneously suffocates and gets too hot.

Mine is a dumb as a half brick and attacks my work screen to protect me, when I am on a conference call to a client. It's become a rite of passage now.

Cat #2 drools when he is either really happy or really stressed. He sits on your chest and drools on your face, or sprays you with the stuff when he shakes his head. He also gives kisses when you put your face down to his and make kissy noises which is adorable.

Cat #1 makes adorable chirpy noises when he is happy to see you.

One of mine head butts you to show she wants attention (and also head butts the other kitty out of the way for food, tickles etc). The other one showed his love by bringing me a squawking baby bird which I then had to take to the vets, so thanks for that cat!

Cheddar is very affectionate. But if I've been out all day. She will sit yowling at me and pat me on the shoulder or face, until I picket her up for a cuddle.
She also likes to make biscuits on my face and neck at night. Which is quite painful!

Snorg to come and sit next to my head on my pillow at night. Her sister used to sit on my face. I think she was trying to kill me.

Our old boy used to drape himself round my neck and suck my earlobe, while kneading my neck with his claws out. He was taken away from his mum much too early and we were his 3rd home, think he needed the comfort.

Current bugger lulls you into a false sense of security then bites your chin, she only does it to the people she loves most though, so I should be flattered, right?

If I have a shower Luna makes sure she is in the bathroom too to keep tabs on me. She does this by jumping on top of the door to peer over the curtain at me while I'm in there.

As the weather is warm Her Mistyness is outside most of the time, but she comes in early morning and checks on me, I suspect mote for food than actual love.

When she first arrived she would follow me from room to room.

Ash stares at me in my sleep I mean really watches me my daughter took photos of him doing it apparently after he stares awhile I shuffle over in bed and he lies down by me apollo gets in the shower with me on the opposite side of the curtain to me and cuddles my feet Charlie has my son as his special human and "detechs" him when he has been on his switch for too long usually by diving in his lap and waving his arsehole at him its hilarious to watch!

@Ellmau, we are talking about a cat that refuses to use a cat flap and licks lemons. I can't see him as a machivillan murderer.

We had a low-flying cat incidence when DH fell asleep with a chest infection.
