Start using Mumsnet PremiumI'm getting a house cat and need to catch proof my back door.
(4 Posts)Getting a birman kitten in a few weeks. Am worried about it escaping. We have double upvc back doors and only ever use one of the two doors.
I need to buy something secure which won't be in the way when not needed, ie; actually going in and out the door. But can be pulled across, down, whatever when we want the door open for longer periods.
Try here http://flatcats.co.uk we have house cats and these are brillliant!
I've got house cats. They are allowed out into the back garden as it's completely enclosed. Though they do go through a hole in the fence to next door. If your garden is enclosed they'll be ok to go out in it.
Thanks. Will investigate the flat cats stuff more. Looks good. The garden is massive and not secure.
