Hiya,

What are the best
Auto feeders, grooming brushes (Ginger does not like being brushed), over the counter worm & flea treatment, in your guys opinions?

The boys had their gonads off on Wednesday & they are not my friend!
I did get a cuddle this morning but nowhere near as many as usual...

They nicey boys! They remind me of our Biggie and Gatsby.

Some people have had success with a grooming glove, or with different types of brushes (e.g. plastic vs. steel).

I used the Furminator comb on my last cat, have a look on Amazon. It gets the undercoat out as well. Try just one or two strokes to begin with then reward with a treat each time you finish.

My new boys are just kittens so I’ve not sorted out their long term worming and flea treatment but I used vet strength on my last cat, both spot on treatments. Warm the pipettes up in your bra or jeans pocket before you administer and it’s less of a shock to them as the liquid is warm. I never managed Drontal worming tablets as dear. At just spat them back out.

Be wary of using Frontline flea treatment as lots of people have experienced is stopping working or the fleas are immune.

One last thing, it’s worth having a can of RIP FLeas or Indorex in the house and spraying it once a month as a preventative measure. Spray a large X in the middle of the room then go round furniture. Buy it online as it’s much cheaper than in the vets.

Such lovely boys. 🐾

I have the cat Mate c20 and Trixie automatic feeders for my pair. I also have the c50 feeder but find it very complicated and I don't trust it.

Zoom groom and a slicker brush are good for short hair. The cheaper de shedding brushes are just as good as the furminator brand.
