Poor DCat. She was attacked last night. There are 3 big Toms in the area and I think it was one of those as I had to shoo 2 of them out of the garden yesterday.
She has 2 staples in deep bites at the top of her leg. Cone of shame. Antibiotics and painkillers. She's a gentle cat as well 😞

Poor you and poor cat. Hope she has a quick recovery. Is there any way you can cat proof your garden to stop the Toms getting in? Flowers

Poor cat, she must be feeling very sorry for herself right now.

Its a huge garden with mostly hedgerow around it. Dog proof but not catproof sadly

Oh what a Sweetie! Can you keep her in at night?

Any chance for a large catio? She looks lovely; obviously very petite. I have a large, neutered Tom who's almost 9kg - just a moggie, not a special large breed and I dread to think what he could possibly do to such a sweet cat. Don't worry forum, he wouldn't get the chance. Unfortunately, for various reasons he has to be an indoor cat for the forseeable future.

Its normally a very safe semi rural area. Just these 3 Toms have moved in and decided my garden the place to be. DDog was in last night so that's why I think it may have happened. DCat and DDog get on gear (DCat the makes the rules!) but other cats aren't tolerated.

Good news about protective DDog. Hopefully, he'll chase nasty interlopers away.
