We've sadly lost our kitten a couple of days ago to FIP. He's was nearly a year old and it was such a shock.

Does anyone have any experience of this horrible disease?

Our other kitten seems a bit lost and pacing. I wonder if it would help for him to see his companion one last time, so he understands where he's gone. We're having him home to bury so not sure what's best x

Oh I am so sorry Sad

For your other kitten, I have heard that it does help them to see the one that died. They do understand, apparently.

Only experience is I lost my kitten at 9 months to possible wet FIP. No test, no cure. We and vet thought he had a cold and went downhill within less than 18 hours, nothing that could have been done. Its a complete bastard and I can't bear to get another kitten now.

Agree to let the other kitten see he has gone, I think it does help them. So sorry for losing your fur friend xxx
