I have two cats and am looking to add two more soon, but I need to know what your experiences of having several are! Do they mostly get on? How do you make sure they all get cuddles? Do they all sleep in the bed with you?! And anything else I need to know Smile

I have thirty or so, so I'm not sure how relevant my experience will be to you. They do what they want. Some stay downstairs, two have claimed the bedroom but a few more visit, particularly in the morning. They all seem to get on very well indeed, but then I'm careful to only keep cats that are ok with other cats.

Six cats is nothing. I'm sure finding time to cuddle them won't be a problem.

I have five. Smile

Two pairs of siblings (2 x boy & girl pairs) and one senior. The young four all get along great and were very easy to introduce to each other. The boys from the different pairs spend more time together than the girls. The eldest hates and avoids them...

All have different personalities so sharing my time between them is easy, not all are cuddly. I work from home most of the time so have plenty of time for them. They have access to my bedroom but for some reason none of them ever sleep on the bed with me! Shock They have two cat trees in the bedroom and mostly sleep on those, or somewhere downstairs.

Feeding times are a bit of a crazy chaos and I'm currently evaluating whether I should feed them all separately...

I definitely feel the older pair's lives were really enriched by the addition of the kittens, they spend so much time playing with each other now whereas before they were growing up and becoming a bit lazy.
