I've recently taken to calling mine by their gangsta names:

Woody is D-Wood
Tabitha is B-Tab
Rosie is C-Rose

I need to get out more don't I? Blush

Mine are usually referred to by their colour, one black, one white and one ginger. Although the ginger is also known as "That fucking trip hazard" and the white one as "Greedy bastard".

Magic is magic or Magey-moo. Cheddar is cheddar, or chefs, or pain in the backside!

Mine is often a shortened version of her name or kit/ kitten. She's roughly 16 so definitely not a kitten anymore!

The bunz, bunny, my sweet boy, your cat as in “Your cat was just sick on the stairs,” said to DH.

I call my cats by their names, they all have proper people's names, like Sidney and Margaret for example (though I would shorten to Sid and Maggie).

It does get embarrassing when you're trying to call them in at night. Woody also answers to 'Stripey bum'

Mine rarely gets called his name. He usually gets referred to as a variation of fluffy bum/fatty potato/my baby sausage.

None of which are his name.

Your cats answer to their names?
Although they might think their names are ffs stop trying to trip me up. Or if you moved out of the way, I would be able to.....

Tom is Major Tom, which is the name on his vet records, or Tom Tom, or furry bum.

Nope - Luna is Lamb Bhuna, Boony, Poopy head, Looney Tunes, Tuna etc

Link is Pinky, Lickin Chicken, Locken Chocken, Fluffy Bumpkin, Tumpkin etc

Our old cat was just referred to as the Vomiting Cavalier.

None of them have ever answered to anything except the sound of a Dreamies packet opening.

DCat has a large number of nicknames that get used in preference to his own. He doesn't care either way as long as we keep the food coming.

We have: Buster, the Boss, Mr Boss-man, Sir, Fatso, Baby Boy, Precious Boy, 7.1 (one of DH's names for him after he was weighed at the vets and came in at 7.1 kilos - well over his ideal weight).

Snugglepus, fluffybum or jinglejangle (due the bell on his collar). These are not even close to his real name and unsurprisingly he gives me a look of complete disdain when I call him these- I just can’t help myself though 😂

Honey is Moo Moo, Meowington or Kit/Kitty
We didn’t pick her name (rescue cat) and she tricked us into thinking she responds to it, she doesn’t...
