The litter tray

A litter tray question no less

Kitten approaching 11weeks, using litter tray up until this last week.
She has now started pooing initially in bathroom now moved onto bedroom and today has also weed in bedroom.
Her litter tray is clean haven't changed type of litter in last few weeks it's big enough for her to circle around in and got enough litter in to bury deposits.
Litter tray is still near her food bowls.
Any suggestions how we can get her back to using the litter tray?
She isn't microchipped or had her imms yet so cannot go outside.
Any help greatly appreciated xx

IDK. Maybe she is unhappy that litter tray is near her food? Can you put the litter tray in the bathroom, as she has already 'been' in there?

Cats hate litter trays being close to their food (understandable, it would be like eating in the bathroom/vice versa).

The general rule is one litter tray per cat in the household, plus one extra. Cats often like to use one tray for urine and the other for faeces. Scoop dirty litter out of the trays at least once a day, more often if possible (for a solely indoor cat, 2-3 times a day is preferable).

Clean the soiled areas of bathroom/bedroom thoroughly and block off access for now (you don't want to start a habit).

Is the litter the same as your kitten used in her previous home? Might be worth switching back if not, for familiarity.

P.s. I'm feeling hard done by, there's no picture of your little one! Shock

Cats do not like to poop where they eat. Move it. Would you eat in the toilet ?

Move food to where she is crapping I did this when we had this problem and it solved it x

Move her food. Cats have a better sense of smell than dogs and having her litterbox near her food bowls is likely the cause of her pooping and peeing elsewhere.

How's it going now?

It's worse to be honest, closed off all the rooms she pooped in, yesterday came home and she had pooped all downstairs but nothing in her litter tray.

Have moved her food moved her littler tray made sure it is clean

It's a good job she is so cute
