dd1 and her friend found an abandoned feral kitten about 5 days ago. With advice and help from local rescues we finally caught it tonight, it's currently in a (large) hamster cage in the kitchen which is covered with a towel with some food, water, blanket and a litter tray. Grew up with cats and have in the past tamed a feral cat but am wondering what our next move should be(obviously a vet visit is needed)

Talk, sing, just generally be around
We had two feral kittens, one was easy, the ginger was a little bugger but she is now tame. I spent ages sat by the crate chatting away to her. Eventually she started following me around and now is happy to be stroked only 5 strokes, 6 gets you a paw swipe
Should be easier with a kitten than a fully grown cat
Vet of course
Decent food. Wet and dry works, some that are good are Simpson's, thrive, Lily's kitchen, natures menu
Zooplus does a lot of good food and cat litter, they deliver and you can usually get cash back or a discount code! Fetch is another one that I've used as I had a discount code and money back via Quidco
Patience, and more patience!

hungry. Got a vet appt on wednes but we have.noticed that the inside of one ear looks wet so may ring in the morning and see if we can an appt tomorrow

Ivy if it's a girl which we think it is, haven't got a male name yet if it turns out to be a boy

We rescued a litter of 4 feral kittens last Wednesday night, they’re around 9 weeks old.
It’s amazing how far they’ve come in 6 days! We’ve been doing all of the above, little and often and two are already very tame :)

Any chance of some pics @LuluBellaBlue? Sounds like you're doing a great job!
