I know I am his servant, but really?

It's not fair - DH is having to keep him out the room when I am asleep as he creeps in and deposits himself

Hmm

when I had a Caesarean (not in the UK) they gave me a small sack of sand to put on the wound...

I am sure your bag of sand wasn't 5+kg Grin

He knows he has majical powers of healing, which only work if he is lying on top of your scar. Or if he lies on top of it, you can't see it and your not broken anymore Grin.

I've recently had an operation too, and dcat has been my constant companion since I came home. He, however, has taken to sitting, lying or leaning on my shoulder, which is not something he's ever done before.

But yes, it's because the only way to get better is through the healing powers of cat. They were worshipped as gods and have never forgotten.

Oddly when I had an op last year my cat stopped trying to sit on my chest where she usually likes to lie and just sat next to me for a few weeks. I suppose heat will encourage blood flow and healing though. Cat's know these things Wink

Probably smells wrong.

Also, cats are dicks.

I’m going to say “heat”. Any signs of infection?

Report
KatyMac · 17/10/2018 12:09

I can't see any sign of infection.....mind you I can't see the scar without a mirror and some athletics!

Mine insisted on sitting on me throughout the summer (usually she's a winter only lap cat) which I can only put down to me being pregnant... they are perceptive things!
