The litter tray

Why do you always feel guilty when they are away to be spayed?

My two little gorgeous kittens are away to be castrated/spayed today, feel so sorry for them. Would never consider not getting it done of course but feel like the worst mum ever. Have already got lovely chicken in for when I get them back at 4.30pm.

I cried dropping our 9 yo cat off for a dental. Nurse quite clearly thought I was mad.

A dog owner dropped her pet off with a cheery wave. Heartless cow.

I've always felt guilty about doing it because it feels like it's taking away their choice of wether on not to have babies Confused. It's absolutely the right thing to do though, and I've always had mine done, but it doesn't sit well. It does always surprises me how quickly they recover. BrewCake for you, whilst they're having their little treat.

Thanks they are back home and you wouldn’t even think anything had happened to them. Both jumping about like maniacs hasn’t slowed them down at all. Little girl hates her medivest, little boy couldn’t care less.

I think I was better with the dog she was 22 months andfully grown though and she was a hormonal wreck and needed spayed.

When you have spayed a 12 year old cat who has had 20 litters you no longer feel guilty. The poor cat just looked tired and her uterus was very worn.
