So we found the right cat for us, passed the homecheck and bought him home yesterday afternoon.
He's very much settled in, although we kept him in one room he miaowed to get out so we let him explore the house. He's now asleep on my knee 💕
Eating, using his litter box and desperate to get outside and chase some squirrels but that will definitely have to wait!

Wow! We've had ours a week now but he's still so wary! He'll come out to play in the evening, but not able to get close enough to stroke him Confused

Hoping we'll get there eventually.

Pleased your little one has settled so quickly! He's lovely.

We opened the cat carrier and he was off, climbing everywhere and making himself heard! He's around 6 months and very confident and chatty, I think he'll be a hunter when we let him out, he's been watching the squirrels all morning!

He's a feisty one, you can see it in his eyesGrin. Lovely puss.

He's lovely. How old? I got my two 20 week olds on Saturday, they're growing in confidence every day, even sit next to me on the settee. I'm hoping I end up with at least one lap cat sometime soon though.
