After having long haired Persians. I'd forgotten how much shorthairs shed. Any tips for getting it off? I've got sticky mits from Lakeland.

It's a nightmare isn't it. I avoid wearing black. I choose my fabrics carefully - the shinier the better, and I have those reusable sticky roller things. What gets me is how the interior of my car is covered in cat hair - not at the back, where cats get transported, but at the front, which can only have come from my clothes.

My chair at work is covered in cat fur! Harry has been to my office but he certainly didn't sit on my chair!

To be honest I've learned to embrace my furriness. If I wear light colours I'm covered in black fur and if I'm wearing dark clothes all you can see is white fur.

You brush carpets etc with it, not the cats.
You can get them in places like Wilko or B&M.

Harry has been to your office? That's cute, what did he make of that!

DH was picking me up as we were going away and taking Harry with us. There was no management in that day and everyone wanted to see him so he came up. We didn't dare let him out of his box and I think he was grumpier than usual as he had a queue of people looking at him!

I have a magic fur remover like this. It works really well on most fabrics. It’s far better than a lint roller and also works better than the rubber mitts that I’ve I bought before. I think I paid about £10 for it. I can sweep it over the spare bed or sofa and it picks up all of the hair in a few swipes.
