The litter tray

What is the name of the meat plasticene you can hide pills in?

For 17 years we had Placid Cat, who would take tablets via syringe-thing or using wrap-in-towel-and-tilt-head-back method.

We now have Small Beautiful Feisty Cat, who is having none of it. I've heard rumours of a magical meat-plasticene that comes in a tube, for the purpose of hiding pills. If you know what it's called, please share.

I know what you mean but I cna't remember either!

There is another product that does the same kind of thing, called Pill Pockets, by Greenies. It's on Amazon and eBay eg here

Will spam or corned beef not do the same job? That's what I used with my cats. Larger tablets chopped into quarters and hidden inside

Cheese slices work aswell! You just put the pill in the middle and fold the cheese around the pill

Wobblington that would work, but it seems a bit wasteful when we'd only be using a tiny amount (we are vegetarian so we won't eat the rest).

Good tip on chopping the tablets though.

I usually use butter or Dairylea if we've got some. The slipperiness helps the pill slide down.

There are a few different things, mostly go by names such as pill pockets or pill putty if you google. I get mine from Amazon.

I had greenies pill pouches for Fatty's tablets.

Well that's two recommendations for Greenies pill pockets, so will try those.
Thank you all. 🐾

I sandwich between two dreamies and hold them up so the cat lifts his head and I can drop them in Grin

I use Nature’s menus treats to hide tablets ( picture attached- hope this doesn’t count as advertising or get me in trouble for anything!) . They smell a bit disgusting but are soft enough to cut in half and squash together again to hide the tablet in- it’s the only way I’ve managed to get my cat to take tablets- he’s so greedy he doesn’t seem to know I’ve tricked him 😂

These are the ones....as I said- they smell disgusting but seem to do the job!

Cat yoghurt. I crush them up and mix it in. He hasn't refused yet!

Sounds like you've found an item that works well, but was it easipill you're thinking of?
It's basically like brown smelly playdough, but our Beastie Cat is very taken with it.

Do you work in sales / marketing WeirdAndPissedOff

I'll have a look for easipill if the Greenies pockets don't work.

I have used webbox sticks before but Theu do fall apart a bit when you're trying to squash them together
