We have one in the bathroom and one in a tray that slides under the utility sink.

He doesn't really use them though

Only one of mine uses a litter tray. When she was a kitten she had one in the hallway under an open staircase and one in the corner of the main living room where she spent most of her time. Now she's older she just has two under the staircase (she wont use one tray for both jobs!) but often uses the garden as well, like our older cat.

We have one in the utility room and one in the bathroom upstairs. Both hooded ones that you don’t really notice.

Ours is in the kitchen, but after we started letting her out she only uses it once in a blue moon if she’s desperate - at night, if we’re at work, or in terrible weather. She did a wee in the bath a couple of times shortly after arriving, so we got a second tray for the bathroom, but it was never, ever used and we eventually ditched it. At Christmas time she had a really upset stomach/was sick in the night, and weirdly went into the bath for that. (Too many Dreamies.)

Upstairs bathroom, utility room and kitchen. The one in the kitchen is not there long term - she became a tripod so I needed a tray that was near her and easy for her to access. 2 cats, 3 trays
