I am so upset Sad One of my little cats hasn't come back home tonight. I don't know what to do and can't sleep. She was a house cat for a few years, mainly venturing into the garden but a few months ago we moved and we began to let them out as the moaned and pleaded. It is mostly gardens but a few main roads too. Everything had been fine, but tonight she hasn't come back. Which is not like her. I have searched and searched but nothing. I don't know to do! Has anyone got any wise advise please? I feel like this is it and she won't be home Sad

I'm so sorry. There isn't much more you can do tonight but just keep looking tomorrow. You could try putting up posters of her and ask neighbours to check their sheds and gardens.Flowers

Hi
Try not to worry I was like you wen my cat did the same ..she doesnt go out much but few weeks ago was crying near door and got out , stayed out all day/night and came strolling back the next day.
Cats are clever they like to explore ..dont worry

Thanks, that has made me feel a bit better! I hope she comes home tomorrow. She just is quite timid so never has ventured any further than next door, never been away for hours at a time. I would expect this behaviour from my boy, but not her. I just keep thinking the worse and I keep crying my eyes out! I know it is ridiculous but I just love her so much. Feel so guilty if something has happened to her Sad It is 3.30am and my husband has walked around the streets, but nothing. Will try again when it gets light.

I hope she comes back very soon. She may have got stuck in someone's shed or just enjoying being out. It's amazing how distracted they can become when they're out in this good weather.
