Just that really. Cleo was 12 years old and had hyperthyroidism but had been on medication and seemed to be ok. She had a reaction to her meds last week, started bleeding from her mouth. Vet took her in for tests and said she had a haemolytic anaemia (blood count not even half what it should be). We left her in vet hospital overnight but she had a stroke and I had to say goodbye on Sunday morning. We were on the way hone from celebrating our wedding anniversary when the vet called.
I just can't believe after 10 years I won't see her little face again. I've had a cat for 28 years, house just feels so empty these past few days.
